Just what we needed -- more price increases. According to a report by TrendForce, massive demand is doing wonders for DRAM and NAND flash revenue and prices. Both industries have been on a rapid rise in the last couple of years, and this trend is only expected to increase, with DRAM revenue set to rise by 75% this year; NAND flash revenue is also said to increase by 77% year-over-year.

According to the market analysis, DRAM revenue is said to hit a whopping $90.7 billion in 2024. That's a 75% increase year-over-year, and TrendForce expects that this upward trend will continue next year, with DRAM revenue being expected to reach $136.5 billion, or a 51% increase.

Microsoft to finally fix everyone’s biggest complaint about Teams
Microsoft said that Teams has received a ground-up redesign, which will “empower customers to navigate the challenges of the evolving modern workplace.”

Microsoft Teams is reportedly testing a new design that merges the app's channels and text chat into one user interface, a lot like Slack. This could potentially streamline text communication for organizations and businesses, as The Verge's Tom Warren mentioned in his Notebook newsletter post.

The newsletter mentioned that Microsoft is currently testing a change combining the text chat and channels into one UI. An internal Microsoft message said: "Our new experience brings chats and channels together to get you to what matters faster."

Nvidia’s next-gen GPUs may be delayed due to ‘design flaws’

Dark clouds are looming over the future of Nvidia's best graphics cards. According to a new report, Nvidia told some of its partners that it will be delaying its upcoming Blackwell GPUs, and is now aiming for an early 2025 release instead. Delays are one thing, but the cause is perhaps the most worrying part of it all -- design flaws. What does this mean for Nvidia's RTX 50-series?

This worrying report originates from The Information, which cites two sources who helped produce the Blackwell chip, as well as its server hardware. Bloomberg recounts that the chips may be delayed by over three months at this point. Nvidia is preparing B100 and B200 chips for some of the world's most prominent tech companies, including Meta, Google, and Microsoft, so these delays could hit pretty hard.
