Girard-Perregaux Updates The Laureato For Its 50th Anniversary
The Cartier Crash is one of @cartier `s most desirable and singular creations. It was born in 1967, during a brief, unrepeatable moment when Cartier London operated with full creative autonomy from Paris and New York, free to respond to the pulse of a city in flux during the Swinging Sixties. It was in these conditions that Jean-Jacques Cartier and designer Rupert Emmerson conceived a watch that shattered Cartier’s classical symmetry and captured instead the restless dynamism of the city.
No more than a few dozen London Crash pieces were made, and in the early 1990s, production was moved to Paris, where a smaller version was introduced. From then on, the design was revisited through successive decades in various forms, from diamond-set and bracelet versions to the Skeleton, and the more exotic variations such as the Radieuse and Tigrée, always in extremely limited quantities.
In 2019, to celebrate the reopening of the New Bond Street boutique in London, Cartier released a boutique-exclusive yellow gold Crash, followed by a platinum version in 2023. Since then, the Crash, in its purest form, has been available through the brand’s NSO program, which gave rise to a flurry of bold and imaginative specimens, until the program was frozen this year. Here are some of the most spectacular.
Due to their bespoke nature and rare, sporadic appearances at auction, the data points are too few and too variable to establish any meaningful price trend, but for the sake of perspective, the last public sale – a white gold example with a grey dial – achieved CHF 756,000 at @christieswatches earlier this year in May, while a yellow gold piece with a green dial sold for CHF 317,500 in the same week at @phillipswatches .

We were honoured to host an event with @thehourglass_official for @ressence_watches at Side Door, one of Singapore’s most renowned cocktail bars.
It was a pleasure to have both Benoît Mintiens, founder of Ressence, and Michael Tay, Group Managing Director of The Hour Glass, grace the evening — opening up engaging conversations with the community over great drinks, food, and company.
The highlight of the night was the new Ressence Type 8 Daniel Engelberg Limited Edition, presented in two series of just 40 pieces each.
@citizenwatchus adds three new limited-edition Series 8 models and a limited-edition ATTESA model to the Citizen Premier category.
Inspired by their birthplace in Japan 🇯🇵 — but crafted to go anywhere in the world 🌍 (and in the case of ATTESA, maybe even beyond).

As the northern hemisphere heads into winter, it’s safe to say that there must be some Olympics in the atmosphere — specifically the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, which will be here in under 100 days. To get us in the sporting, slaloming mood, @omega
has debuted a celebratory Speedmaster.
The 38mm steel model features a blue ceramic bezel and a white dial with an overlay of light blue frosting, with a subtle pattern inspired by the ‘2’ of the Milano Cortina 2026 emblem. The Olympic theme is cemented with the medallion-style caseback.
@omega will be timing all 116 events across eight sports at the upcoming games, including ski mountaineering for the very first time.

Constant did a quick review of the new Comet 39mm Collection from @zeloswatches — the brand’s modern interpretation of a pilot’s watch.
Clean, functional, and purpose-driven, yet offered in a range of intriguing dial and material combinations that make each piece stand out.
The new collection comprises five distinct models:
1) Guilloché Mother-of-Pearl
2) Meteorite
3) Vulcan (Tiger Eye & Forged Carbon)
4) ‘51’ (Limited to 25 pieces)
5) Tantalum (Limited to 50 pieces)
Each Comet is housed in a 39mm stainless steel case measuring just 7.6mm (9.4mm with sapphire crystal) thick and paired with a stainless steel beads-of-rice bracelet. Powering it is a hand-wound Peseux 7001 calibre, fully customised for Zelos with reworked bridges and blued screws. A thoughtfully executed collection that will appeal to both new and seasoned collectors alike.
For more details, visit the Zelos website or their social channels.
For Chopard’s latest exploration of artistic crafts, the brand looks to Japan — specifically the culture and long traditions of craft and excellence that align so closely with the Swiss brand’s values. @chopard has created a series of iconic L.U.C models inspired by traditional Japanese craftsmanship and iconography.
The unique L.U.C Full Strike Spirit of the Warrior is particularly striking, with case and calibre fully hand-engraved, inspired by the samurai. Then there are three versions of the jumping-hour L.U.C Quattro Spirit, each featuring a Grand Feu enamel dial with a Zen-like motif, such as the harmonious Enso. The L.U.C XP Urushi Ukiyo-e takes its inspiration from the woodblock artist Katsushika Hokusai — not his great wave, but a calmer sea at the foot of Mount Fuji. In a dramatically different take on fine artisanal craft, the L.U.C XP Nihontō uses damascened steel, forged in the same manner as Japanese swords. Finally, the L.U.C XP Sakura by Night captures the ephemeral beauty of cherry blossoms through a dial combining guilloché, lacquer, mother-of-pearl, and gold.
These seven timepieces exemplify @chopard’s pursuit of artistic excellence and reflect the meeting of Swiss precision and Japanese tradition.

Once known for supplying micro-rotor movements to other brands, @schwarzetienne has since established itself as a watchmaker with a varied range of offerings. Its latest creation, the 1902 Petite Seconde, marks a return to simplicity as a time-only watch that conceals an elaborate movement within.
An evolution of its earlier micro-rotor calibres, the new AS 300 features multiple finger bridges inspired by mid-century wristwatches, yet remains fully modern with an 86-hour power reserve.
The 1902 Petite Seconde is also unusually lightweight for a dress watch, being made of titanium and measuring 39 mm by 10.9 mm. It is available in three colours: silver, slate grey, and gold.

@parmigianifleurier expands the Tonda PF line with a new two-tone model in stainless steel and 18K rose gold. The combination gives the watch a stronger architectural presence while maintaining the restraint that defines the collection.
The dial, rendered in Stone Blue and finished with the maison’s Grain d’Orge guilloché, sets a subtle contrast against the polished and satin surfaces of the case and bracelet.
Powering the watch is the PF703 automatic calibre with a 22K rose gold micro-rotor. At just 7.8mm thick, it continues the brand’s focus on slim, technically refined movements designed for everyday wear.

@ralphlauren might not be a name that’s on the tip of people’s tongues when it comes to artisanal watchmaking — but the American Western Watch is an excellent example of why that’s an incorrect take.
The collection, which debuted in 2018, celebrates (and is inspired by) the rich world of traditional American arts and craft. The cushion-shaped 42mm case (in sterling silver or rose gold) is hand-engraved in New York, in the style of Western belt buckles. Even the vachetta leather straps are hand-tooled in El Paso.
This latest addition celebrates a stone that is deeply significant in Native American jewellery — turquoise. Great care has been taken to select just the right tone of turquoise, nothing too vibrant or vivid. The addition of Breguet-style hands and numerals interspersed with Romans evokes the golden age of American railway watches.
Powered by the RL514 automatic, made exclusively for Ralph Lauren by @piaget, this turquoise Ralph Lauren Western Cushion is a tribute to what really makes America great.

@bvlgari has emerged as a dominant force in watchmaking over the last decade, and this meteoric, record-breaking rise to glory is down to one model: the Octo Finissimo. We chart the evolution of this visionary line, from the Octo Finissimo Tourbillon of 2014, 2017’s breakout hit, the 5.15mm thin Octo Finissimo Automatic, all the way to the latest record breaker, the Octo Finissimo Ultra Tourbillon, measuring in at a mere 1.85mm.
We also explore how this decade of innovation and research has led to numerous other improvements in Bvlgari`s watchmaking offering, from the miniature Piccolissimo Caliber BVL 100, as well as artistic creations from the mind of brand Creative Director @fabriziobuonamassastigliani, along with other collaborators, under the leadership of CEO @jc.babin .

As part of its ongoing Made of Makers programme, @jaegerlecoultre
has teamed up with Filipino webcomic artist Lily Catan, better known online as @olivecoat .
Made of Makers is dedicated to drawing parallels between the worlds of art and horology, and Olivecoat’s dynamic, contemporary graphic style forms an inspired counterpoint to the traditionalism of the great watchmaker.
As part of the programme, Olivecoat has spent the last year wearing a Reverso while creating a five-chapter webcomic retelling the story of this iconic watch in a uniquely visual way.
